Premier Inn pledges to award a superfan with an ‘Away Day Season Ticket’ – accommodation for every away league game of the football season
JULY 2018: With the football season fast approaching, Premier Inn is preparing to host thousands of fans who are travelling across the country to support their team. Renowned for clocking up some serious mileage, dedicated football fans will go to great lengths to make sure they never miss a game even if that means travelling for hours and missing out on a good night’s sleep.
To make the experience of following their beloved team a little easier, Premier Inn has created the Away Day Season Ticket to give the most travelled football fan the comfort they need to get through the highs and lows of the season.
The special ticket will grant one lucky fan free accommodation before or after their team play a league game away from home. This one of a kind ticket, which could be worth more than £1,000, has been created to ensure the fan has a great place to start every away game day. With more than 750 locations around the country, fans can find a Premier Inn hotel within 6 miles of every stadium in the top four football leagues in the UK.
This season, Plymouth will rack up the most miles, travelling a total of 4868.2 miles to attend away league games.
