Harlequins outside back Nick David is the latest player to recommit his future to Harlequins.
The 24-year-old outside back has recommitted his future to Harlequins following a stellar start to his second season in the iconic Quartered jersey.
Equally as comfortable running devastating running lines from fullback or on the wing, the Redditch-born back joined Harlequins from Worcester Warriors ahead of the 21/22 season and has gone on to become a familiar face within the matchday 23.
An England representative from U16 to U19 levels, David made his Harlequins debut away to Wasps at the Ricoh Arena in November 2021, going on to represent Quins on 10 occasions during his first campaign at the Club.
A potent attacking runner that has proven well-suited to Harlequins’ attacking style of play, David has represented Quins on 25 occasions to date, scoring six tries.
Commenting on his new deal, David said: “The start to my journey with Harlequins these last two seasons has been fantastic. This is a team that values playing the kind of rugby that allows me to show the best side of my game and it’s a genuine thrill to be able to play as a part of this squad.
“There’s definitely something special about this team and I’m excited to see how far we can go in the Premiership and Champions Cup.”
Harlequins Head Coach Tabai Matson said: “Nick has impressed us a lot since arriving last summer and has really taken his chances in the starting team.
“He is the type of outside back that is desperate to get his hands on the ball and have a go at the line and has thrived playing within the Harlequins Way of doing things.
“He was brought into the team because of his ability to attack and put us on the front foot and we are thrilled to have him recommit to the Club.”
