What is the inspiration behind Frederick Benjamin:

I remember growing so frustrated with the razor bumps, skin irritation and countless ingrown hairs I was experiencing as a result of my shaving regimen, which are extremely common grooming issues among multicultural men. While searching for a solution, I quickly realized none of the available products catered towards my coily hair texture. So, I created a specialized line of personal care products for men like myself after working with industry giants, Revlon and L’Oreal, for over a decade.

What is the ethos behind the product:

My grandfather, Frederick Benjamin Schumpert, was an enterprising entrepreneur, who started his company during the Great Depression and remained in business for three generations. Personal appearance in that era said many things about a man, not only his confidence and sense of pride but achievement and perseverance in all that he did. Those values were instilled in me and are the same values Frederick Benjamin Grooming connects to the daily grooming routines of our customers.

What are the key moments in an awareness of grooming well:

Being informed is one major key to grooming well. Knowing how to care for your specific hair texture makes all the difference when purchasing and applying products. According to the Journal of Investigative Reporting, multicultural men are 50 times more likely to experience ingrown hairs and razor bumps.

What are the signs of a well groomed man:

A modern-day, well-groomed man is clean-cut in appearance, from head to toe. His skin and hair stay moisturized, and he always keeps a freshly shaven face, clear of razor bumps and skin irritation.
