It is so exciting reaching the final stages of the male rugby world cup and finally deciding which games to watch and even taking the step of a flutter on betting on the results!
Accumulators are so complex that i decided to initially think about my understanding of the form of the teams and compile a list of the variables which effect results such as climate! If there is another typhoon then what happens in that scenario! In the pool stages games were voided! some games did not even happen due to the tremendous typhoon which hit the coast of Japan and caused total devastation! Health and safety is the most important thing for everyone and playing rugby in the middle of a typhoon is just not feasible! the games were voiced and the results declared a draw! This completely upended most of my calculations! all the teams who had their games voided received a point and they also did not have to play for that point! What impact does this have! Well! Immediately i considered that the because they did not have to play they also did not have physical fatigue after the game as they had not played! Even the mental fatigue is less because whilst they would have been terribly stressed out thinking about the typhoon the fatigue level would have been lessened! Of course players are professional and remain calm mentally in all scenarios but everyone is different but what is not in doubt is the positive impact on teams of getting points but not playing and therefore not experiencing game fatigue! Everyone else had to play!
Then as the dust settled after the typhoon i was able to think rationally and realise that while the teams did not have to play with one of them even threatening legal action as this would have an enormous impact on their game! For the teams who did not play it meant they received the same points for that game as it was declared a draw and so actually the way it transpired it meant their positions in the table were not affected but other teams in their pool did play and so positions could have changed! It was just tremendously exciting for everyone not least the spectators who have just been completely transfixed by the spectacle in Japan and the amazing atmosphere at the games plus the incredible scenic location of Japan itself the inhabitants and everyone involved has just pulled out the stops to be super welcoming and super flexible at all times to be helpful and friendly and polite and always keeping the atmosphere jovial and cordial at all times!
the reports from fans is that Japan has been and absolutely wonderful tournament! So having said that I still had to think who am i going to bet on! I checked the scores every five minutes during the games i could not watch. I watched other games and so I was getting live scores! Then data began to emerge about the transfer market with players confirming signings overseas which could mean this was their last tournament! All of this effects players, and lets me see what position are they in, is this their last tournament and they have got a financial boost through the transfer market which means they could play at their best! I made live odds comparison analysis on the free bets sites and general sports betting sites and finally I made my choices! I am not telling but i’m super stoked about my choices and i’m just finding that with skin in the game so to speak I’m glued even more to the games! I’m just thoroughly enjoying all the games!
