Ladies’ Weekend of Rugby kicks season off
A 10s tournament and a friendly get the ladies back on the pitch
On Saturday we held a friendly 10s tournament, hosted at Hendon RFC, attended by 3 other London teams: Kilburn Ladies, Cuffley Ladies and Blackheath Ladies 2nd Team. Despite the ongoing showers of rain, all of the girls pushed through and worked hard in their teams.
3 matches of 10 minute halves later and Cuffley were crowned the winners, having won all of their games. This was swiftly followed with a BBQ for players and supporters and of course the beer pong! It was a great day which gave the chance for new players and those who’ve not played together before to have the opportunity for game time and to build their skills.
