NIKKA DAYS CAPTURES SUMMER IN A GLASS WITH WHISKY HIGHBALL PUSH

Nikka Days, the easy-drinking whisky from Japan, has launched a series of refreshing highball serves ideal to enjoy this summer. The six, thirst-quenching cocktails were designed by Nikka UK Brand Ambassador, Nathan Shearer who took inspiration from the simplicity and elegance of the classic Japanese Highball and the bright and warm flavours synonymous of the midsummer season.

As part of the campaign, Nathan and Nikka Days will be touring the UK hosting highballs focused events and tastings over the coming months to encourage cocktail lovers to explore the brand and the serves further.

Whisky Highballs have been rising in popularity thanks to their refreshing and lively flavours. The Nikka Days highball are extremely versatile and suitable for all palates as they mix the whisky with the likes of yuzu, white peach & jasmine, cucumber or ginger ale thanks to the variety of premium soda and tonic currently available in the market.

Consumers will be able to recreate the drinks at home but also enjoy them in bars across the country. Nikka Days has collaborated with the likes of Milroy’s in Soho and Spitalfields, which offer Nikka Days Highballs on tap and will run a programme of events in July and August. Meanwhile other partners include Humble Chicken, Kanpai Sake, Kanada-ya and Tonkotsu which will display Nikka Days highballs on their menu.

50ml Nikka Days, topped up with 150ml soda, garnished with mint sprig and lemon zest garnish.

Sakura Spritz
50ml Nikka Days over ice, topped up with 150ml London Essence Co. white peach & jasmine
soda, garnished with a jasmine flower.

Shoga Spritz
50ml Nikka Days over ice, topped up with 150ml ginger ale, garnished with a lime wedge.

Mountain Stream
50ml Nikka Days over ice, topped up with 150ml cucumber & lime tonic, garnished with a cucumber
ribbon and lime wedge.

Shibui Highball
50ml Nikka Days over ice, topped up with 150ml Sekforde Whiskey botanical mixer, garnished with
a sprig of rosemary and an orange peel.

Hokkaido Highball
50ml Nikka Days over ice, topped up with 150ml Something & Nothing Yuzu seltzer, garnished with
a lemon wedge.
