31% of dog owners admit they would rather spend Valentine’s Day with their beloved pooch than their significant other
New research shows that just under half (44%) surveyed, revealed their top dinner date for Valentine’s evening was their dog!
As more than a quarter (27%) said their expectations of Valentine’s Day are never met.
A third of dog owners feel more loved by their dog than their partner on a daily basis .

New research, completed by over 2,000 dog owners, has revealed almost half (44%) would choose to have dinner with their dog over family and friends this Valentine’s Day, while 43% admitted to buying gifts for their beloved pooch.
However, it is not just the annual romantic celebration of Valentine’s Day that demonstrates the close bond between dogs and their owners. A third of dog owners feel more loved by their dog than their partner on a daily basis, when it comes to enjoying their spare time and more than half (57%) would choose to spend this with their dog above and beyond anybody else.
