The nation’s favourite bars may be closed for now, but that doesn’t mean shoppers can’t recreate a buzzing cocktail hour at home! Fans looking to take their shot at mixing up an Espresso ‘Quarantini’ or a boozy take on the popular Korean Dalgona coffees, need look no further than The Barista Brothers Coffee Liqueur (£7.99).
Retailing at just £7.99, shoppers will save almost £10 compared to the trendy Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur(1). The sweet, yet creamy tipple hit the ground running ever since its debut in a London bar in 1983 and has brewed the perfect storm since the rise of craft coffee culture. Now known for being the perfect pick me up post-dinner or smooth accompaniment to a boozy brunch, it’s no surprise the Espresso Martini is cocktail of the hour.
Shoppers can opt to make the popular Espresso Martini cocktail using just three ingredients. Mix equal parts of The Barista Brothers Coffee Liqueur (£7.99) and Saint Germont Vodka (£13.99) (mix with boiling water) and shake together with plenty of ice. Strain into a cocktail glass (preferably a Coupe Martini) and garnish with two coffee beans – now that’s brew-tiful.
